Job Description/Essential Functions:
Ability to work in conjunction with other engineer on the development of digital electronics by satellite and interplanetary applications Manage and direct. As a Command and Data handler (C&DH) Leader - responsible for all aspects of component electronic delivery, including: scope definition, cost and schedule. Lead an engineering team in the development and delivery of electronic components. Serve as primary point of contact for Program and Functional Management. Lead architectural trades spanning design from system, component and board levels. Lead design development and implementation at the system, component and board levels. Maintain requirements analysis and verification of the product through simulation analysis test inspection
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Minimum 10 years experience in military or aerospace field that must include Digital Design.
Manage subcontractor and project team
Provide technical support for funded studies and proposals in the area of Command and Data Handling Subsystems
Lead or participate in the development of flight electronic components and associated test equipment
Provide technical support during flight component acceptance testing
Develop spacecraft avionics subsystems
