Lead Engineer-Systems
Job Location: Virginia - Chantilly

Job Requirements: Requires a Masters Degree with 6 years experience or a Bachelors Degree with 8 years experience in Aerospace Engineering, Math, Physics or equivalent. Applicant must have a strong mod & sim background, possess full life cycle experience, and have a current TS/SCI level clearance.

Specific Responsibilities:

Member of the Modeling, Simulation & Analysis engineering team responsible for analyzing day-in-the-life and statistical simulation data, assessing system performance and system sensitivity to parametric variations, verifying satisfaction of key specification requirements, and providing system-level recommendations to the customer. Analysis results are used in support of key program baseline decisions. The candidate will support technical briefings to the customer and participate in technical meetings with same. The candidate must possess good written and presentation/briefing skills. He/she will provide technical assistance and mentoring to less experienced engineers, as required. The successful candidate will have current experience in end-to-end systems engineering and performance analysis, and a thorough understanding of sensitivities between capacity, system design, system constraints and CONOPs.

 

The successful candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Modeling, Simulation, Sensors, Spacecraft and National Systems experience.
