Required Qualifications:
BS or a minimum of 10 years experience with aerospace and mechanical design using SDRC I-DEAS. Candidate should have expertise in designing machined parts, sheet metal parts, surfacing and large assemblies. Candidate should be able to create a great looking drawing, and be able to work well with others in a team environment.

2) SR. DESIGNER
Location: Sterling, VA
 
Job Description/Essential Functions:
Prepare working plans, detailed drawings, and complete mechanical or electrical drawings of complex components and assemblies from notes, verbal instructions, and rough or detailed sketches for engineering or manufacturing purposes, frequently using computerized equipment (e.g., CAD/CAM). Verify completed work, check dimensions, material and quantities to be used. May provide guidance and supervision to staff.
Required Qualifications:
AA or equivalent experience and a minimum of five years of experience with aerospace and mechanical design using Pro/ENGINEER and Pro/INTRALINK. Expertise in designing machined parts, sheetmetal, large asemblies and working with simplified reps. Able to create a great looking drawing using ANSI 14.5-1994; and able to work well with others in a team environment; aerospace/satellite design experience.

 

3) LEAD DESIGNER
Location: Sterling, VA

 

Job Description/Essential Functions:
The lead designer position will be responsible for design verification through the use Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0, drafting, checking model and assembly verification.

 

Required Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years mechanical design experience and expertise in ANSI Y14.5 GD&T.
Minimum of 5 years Pro/ENGINEER and Pro/INTRALINK 3.X experience
Expertise in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 with some experience in model and assembly verification
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Expert in drafting standards and Pro/ENGINEER modeling conventions

 

 

4) SR. DESIGNER  (Top Secret Clearance)
Location: Sterling, VA

 

Job Description/Essential Functions:
This Senior Designer position will assist the design team with classified spacecraft proposal and design tasks.

 

Required Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years mechanical design experience and expertise in ANSI Y14.5 GD&T.
Minimum of five years Pro/ENGINEER and Pro/INTRALINK 3.X experience. Expertise in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0.
Candidate must possess a Top Secret clearance
Experience with mechanical design using aerospace standards and techniques.
Experience with top level spacecraft layout and design and documentation.
Experience with conceptual design and proposal level design tasks.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
